Our place

A peaceful space to
reconnect with yourself.

Amy's Homestead is a peaceful wellbeing space where women can reconnect with themselves through nature, animals and meaningful experiences.

We offer one-on-one mentoring and community outings designed to encourage confidence, personal growth and genuine connection in a calm and supportive environment.

Our animals are at the heart of everything we do. From spending time with our rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, hens and cats, to visiting our horse Pippa, we believe animals have a unique way of helping us slow down, feel present and reconnect with ourselves.

Whether we're exploring the outdoors, sharing conversations or simply enjoying the company of animals, our hope is that every person who visits leaves feeling supported, refreshed and connected.

About me

Hi, I'm Amy.

I've grown such a deep passion for animals, nature and horses throughout my journey of studying and finding myself. Being outdoors brings me so much peace, and I genuinely love the connection that comes from spending time with both people and animals.

I'm a mum of two, I love meeting new people, and I have so many hobbies that have introduced me to incredible communities and lifelong friendships.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) from Western Sydney University and I'm currently completing a Master of Counselling. My background also includes mentoring and disability support, which has only strengthened my passion for helping people feel seen, supported and connected.

Mentoring Nature Animals Community

Amy's Homestead was created from two things I've always loved. The first is homesteading, animals and the simple lifestyle that comes with them. The second is community. I've always dreamed of creating a space where women could come together, slow down, make genuine friendships and experience the healing that can come from nature, animals and meaningful connection.

Whether we're hiking, spending time with the animals or heading out on a community adventure, my hope is that Amy's Homestead feels like a place where you can simply be yourself.

I'm so grateful you're here, and I hope you'll be part of the journey. ♡

What we do

Mentoring, rooted in
connection.

At Amy's Homestead, mentoring is about providing guidance, encouragement and genuine support through life's challenges. We believe everyone benefits from having someone who listens, offers perspective and helps them build confidence to move forward.

Our mentoring approach is centred around meaningful connection, personal growth and creating a safe, welcoming environment where people feel supported. Whether we're meeting at the homestead, spending time in nature or out in the community, every mentoring journey is tailored to the individual.

Our mentoring space is located on a private residential property and has been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable, welcoming environment for women and young people.

One-on-One Mentoring

Our one-on-one mentoring sessions are designed for women seeking guidance, encouragement and support through different stages of life. Whether you're navigating motherhood, relationships, a major life transition, personal growth or simply looking for someone to walk alongside you, mentoring provides a safe space to reflect, set goals and move forward with confidence.

While many mentoring sessions take place out in the community, Amy's Homestead is our home base. Our private granny flat provides a calm and welcoming space to reflect, discuss goals, work through challenges and enjoy meaningful conversations in a relaxed environment. Depending on your interests, mentoring may also include spending time in nature, connecting with our animals or heading out on activities that support your personal growth and wellbeing.

As part of the Amy's Homestead community, you'll also have the opportunity to join our community outings and events, creating meaningful friendships with like-minded women while enjoying new experiences together.

Teen Mentoring

Our teen mentoring program is designed for young people who would benefit from extra guidance, encouragement and a positive role model.

Each participant receives weekly one-on-one mentoring tailored to their individual needs. Sessions provide a safe space to reflect on the week, work through challenges, build confidence and receive ongoing support.

As part of the mentoring experience, young people have the opportunity to spend time with our animals, helping to create a calm environment that encourages confidence, connection and emotional wellbeing.

Parents and guardians are kept involved throughout the mentoring journey through regular communication to establish clear goals, provide progress updates and ensure we are working together to best support their young person.

Participants also have the opportunity to join age-appropriate community outings, where they can build friendships, connect with other young people and enjoy activities such as hiking, spending time with animals and other outdoor adventures.

Phone support is also available between sessions when additional guidance or encouragement is needed.

Women's Community

Our women's community is all about creating genuine connections through shared experiences. We believe some of life's best friendships are built outside, surrounded by nature and like-minded women.

Throughout the year, we host a variety of community outings including hikes, horse riding, workshops, animal experiences and other outdoor adventures. Whether you're coming on your own or with a friend, you'll always be welcomed into a supportive and inclusive community.

Our goal is simple: to create a space where women can step away from the demands of everyday life, try something new, build meaningful friendships and leave feeling refreshed, inspired and connected.

Looking to organise something a little more personal? We also offer tailored outings for women's groups. Whether it's a friendship group, community group or another special gathering, we'd love to help create an experience that suits your interests.

If you have a particular activity or outing in mind, we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch and we can work together to create a memorable experience for your group.

Mum & Bub Wellness Sessions

A slow, gentle session at the homestead for you and your little one — time with the rabbits, guinea pigs and chicks, fresh air, and a calm corner of the garden to simply be.

These mornings are about connection and calm for bub, and just as much for mum. No structure and no rush — a soft, unhurried visit among the animals.

Sessions are arranged individually so every visit stays quiet and personal. Leave your details and Amy will be in touch to find a time that suits you both.

Future Counselling Services

One of the long-term goals for Amy's Homestead is to offer one-on-one counselling in a peaceful, natural environment.

As I continue completing my Master of Counselling and work towards professional registration, my vision is to provide a different counselling experience. One that extends beyond the traditional counselling room and embraces the calming benefits of nature and, where appropriate, the gentle presence of animals.

My hope is to create a space where people feel safe, heard and supported as they work through life's challenges, surrounded by an environment that encourages healing, reflection and personal growth.

I'm excited to continue growing Amy's Homestead and look forward to welcoming clients for one-on-one counselling in the future.

Meet our animals

The gentle heart of
the homestead.

Our animals are a special part of Amy's Homestead and play an important role in creating the calm and welcoming environment we're so passionate about. Each one has their own unique personality and brings something special to the experience.

For those who choose, our animals can be incorporated into mentoring sessions as a natural part of the journey. Spending time with animals can encourage calm, confidence, connection and emotional wellbeing, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Coming soon

Coming soon… Therapy Dog

A therapy dog will soon be joining the Amy's Homestead family. This is an exciting step towards our future vision of incorporating animal-assisted support into our counselling services while continuing to enrich our mentoring programs.

Homestead produce

A little of what the
homestead still gives.

Although Amy's Homestead has grown into a space centred around wellbeing, mentoring and community, our love for homesteading remains at the heart of everything we do.

We continue to offer a small selection of seasonal, homegrown products, produced with care and shared with our local community.

A basket of brown and white eggs

Farm Fresh Eggs

Our free-range hens provide fresh eggs that are collected daily. Raised with care and plenty of space to roam, they're a simple reminder of the beauty found in slow, intentional living.

Raw Honey

Our raw honey is 100% natural, with no additives or processing. It's a wholesome staple from the homestead that we're proud to share with our community.

Availability of produce may vary throughout the year depending on the season and supply. Feel free to get in touch to see what's currently available.

From our community

Kind words from mentoring
& community outings.

Amy has created such an amazing and supportive space for women to connect with new people and for me personally reconnect with my love for horse riding. I attended one of her riding days in the mountains alone and left with new connections! The entire day was such a beautiful experience❤️

I attended the trail ride Amy organised at Centennial Glen Stables, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Amy did such an amazing job organising the day. From the moment we arrived, everything ran so smoothly, and you could tell how much thought and effort she’d put into making sure everyone felt welcome and included. She has such a warm, friendly personality and made the whole group feel comfortable, whether you were an experienced rider or getting back in the saddle after a while. The ride itself was so much fun! There was plenty of laughter throughout the day, and the atmosphere Amy created made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The horses were beautiful and well looked after, and the scenery along the trail was absolutely breathtaking. It was one of those days that leaves you with a big smile on your face. If Amy organises another ride, I’ll definitely be booking again. I highly recommend joining one of her trail rides, you won’t be disappointed!

The rent a chick experience was just amazing for myself and my kids. Taught my kids to be gentle and care for the small things, for me.. for some reason it made me emotional, seeing these tiny beautiful chick rely on me for warmth and comfort. Amy was accommodating and provided everything we needed. My kids still ask where they are a week later lol, will definitly do it again.

What started as simply buying fresh eggs has turned into something so much lovelier — Amy is one of the kindest, most genuine people you'll come across. Her eggs are absolutely beautiful: fresh, delicious, and you can genuinely tell they come from happy, well-cared-for chickens. She's such a sweet soul, and supporting a local family who puts real care into what they do feels extra special. We're very lucky to have her nearby!
